Now I can finally read a book I WANT to read. And listen to stuff I WANT to listen to. And not think about university stuff! … at least for two weeks. Then I have to prepare for the next exams. Grah!

Let’s Attack Israel?
Israel decided to attack an aid ship, which was driving sailing under the Turkish flag. Why the hell not. It’s an aid ship, just sending medical care, it was announced before, yeah, why shouldn’t Israel attack it!

The more interesting question is: Turkey is a member of the NATO. Basically Turkey was attacked by another country. Isn’t that a case of defense now?

It seems the NATO doesn’t like it either.
NATO is deeply concerned about the loss of life in this incident. We look forward to a further establishment of the facts of what has happened.
Oh, and I’m not saying we should attack Israel. But we should be allowed to question the actions of Israel.

Out Of President
Our German President, Horst Köhler, resigns his post of German Federal President immediately. He was criticized because of saying that we should defend German Economic interests by military power.

I’m okay with that. Lately, he has been a bad president anyway. He didn’t seem that confident as he was in the beginning. For example he started singing the German national anthem with “Deutschland, Deutschland” – which is the first verse of it, which we aren’t using for like… 60 years. A President should know that.
Oh, Germany will be okay. We have a weak President, he’s just there to have a nice palace and to meet some other people, he’s the one signing the laws (which he usually does without saying a word). So we’ll just get another one representing our country, signing laws without a word and live around in a nice palace. After all, he’s just a President. Fun.

EU stops SWIFT – Democracy wins
The European Parliament stopped the transfer of European bank data to USA. A great day for Europe. No one should be allowed to watch my bank account except myself.
We are not terrorists, USA. We will never be. Even if you have all the data, you do not use it wisely (plane, christmas, you remember?).
Or, the best way to address the paranoid US government: in your face!
